In the third quarter of 2024, the Shoot'em Up gaming category on the Android platform in Australia saw varied performances among the top five games. According to data from Sensor Tower, these games displayed distinct trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Galaxiga Arcade Shooting Game from 1SOFT experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $4.6K in early July and declining to around $2.4K by the end of September. The game maintained a steady download rate, peaking at about 4.3K downloads in the second week of July, and concluded the quarter with around 2.1K downloads. Meanwhile, weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at around 26.9K and ending the quarter close to 26.2K.

1945 Air Force: Airplane games, also by 1SOFT, showed consistent weekly revenue, hovering between $1.3K and $1.7K throughout the quarter. Downloads remained steady, starting with 1.7K in July and dipping slightly to 1.2K by the end of September. This game started the quarter with approximately 6.2K active users, which declined slightly to around 5.1K by the end of September.

Earn to Die Rogue by Not Doppler saw its weekly revenue peak at approximately $1.8K in mid-August before declining to around $376 by the end of September. The game started with about 2.5K downloads in early July, but this number dropped sharply to approximately 624 by the end of the quarter. Finally, Metal Slug: Awakening by HaoPlay Limited showed a significant rise in weekly revenue from $786 in mid-July to a peak of $3.6K at the end of July, only to settle around $2.4K by late September. Downloads saw a sharp decline from 7.4K in the first week of tracking to 163 by the end of the quarter. Active users also decreased from 7.2K in mid-July to 694 by the end of September.
